Inspired by the French Nouvelle Vague and the Yéyé movements, the art direction borrows visual references from iconic movies. Fresh and youthful, it also maintains an air of restraint and elegance. The imagery features a grainy vintage look and feel with soft hues, for a cosy and sugary atmosphere. Inspired by the free-spirited lifestyle. We explored 70s vintage posters and structured modern typography.
Powerful, memorable, timeless and slightly quirky, we developed a logo synonym of happiness, comfort and escapism. The logomark is an abstract representation of a square scarf with a premium and timeless feel. The logotype features high contrasts along with a diversity of shapes and curves.
The jeu de cartes/knotting playing cards were Inspired by mid-century prints and retro illustrated tourism posters. We dived into the French Riviera nostalgia, insouciance and timeless glamour. The deck also includes 10(+) styling tutorial cards paired with the perfect landmark to wear them. Not just a collateral print, the Fofolles deck is a powerful marketing tool that will help to build brand awareness and lifestyle worldwide.
