Concept and development of a multichannel Holiday campaign focusing on kind gestures and togetherness.
We concentrated on the true meaning of the festive season, its core values. We stripped the noise associated with traditional retail and focused on the action of ‘giving’. We studied the physical gestures and universal sign language. The campaign had to be relevant to the demographic target globally, regardless of language or religion.

The ‘Serial Gifter’ multichannel campaign covered the festive season from October to January including the Holiday's usual suspects: ski and party seasons, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas, Hanukkah and New Year’s eve. We created multiple scenes and developed unique nail designs. We featured different skin tones. On the final scene, all hands were covered in glitter, erasing differences in an all-inclusive festive spirit. Following our holistic approach, we also developed a facetious tone of voice. #theserialgifter.
The handmade set design was built and captured in our studio. In order to capture all hands at the same time, the 6 talents needed to stand really close to one another and adapt to awkward and uncomfortable positions. Keeping all hands steady and in the perfect position required precision, patience and a killer-eye for details, hence our choice for the photographer. We worked with the incredibly meticulous Turi Løvik Kirknes. The choreography coordination (set design transformation, props rotation, manicure update, glitter on/off) during and between takes was quintessential to ensure a successful shoot.
